23rd April 2017
The Race Starts in:-
Trail Outlaws are based out of Washington, Tyne and Wear, so we are delighted to announce a race set in our very own home town. Parking and race administration takes places at Biddick Academy. The race itself is set in the delightful James Steel Park. This race is part of the Urban Trail Series. A set of 4 challenging races, set in locations that might surprise you.
The race starts in the scenic and undulating James Steel Park and follows a great trail along the River Wear, before looping back round to Coxgreen. You will then head into some lesser known secret trails before looping back around to Coxgreen and then heading back to the start/finish area. This is challenging trail 10K that shows of some of Washington's hidden trails. The course will be fully signed and marshalled, so no need to worry about getting lost in the woods.
We are also delighted that we are working with a locally based international trail running company. Scott Running. Who are providing swag for all our races winners and marshals.
