20th August 2017
The Race Starts in:-
Trail Outlaws presents a new, challenging and beautiful trail 10k. For the first time we are taking the Trail Outlaws 10k events out of Sunderland to the nearby trails of County Durham. Set in a beautiful and historic area of County Durham the Branches and Bays 10k promises to be a must do event in the running calendar.
For 30 years Trail Outlaws Race Director Garry Scott has been making his way around these trails, and when he came on board with Trail Outlaws, he knew he would have to get an event on his local trail course. Once you venture onto this route I’m sure you will agree, that it is one of the most beautiful. As a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) it is a route that Trail Outlaws have worked very hard to bring to the calendar. Starting in the local village of Hawthorn, the route takes you through the Durham Wildlife Trust and National Trust managed woodland of Hawthorn Dene.
